24 Deposit in eScholarship

We encourage you to deposit your open books in eScholarship, the UC system’s repository for open scholarship. Monographs (books) are not covered under the terms of the University of California’s Open Access Policy, but adding your Pressbooks works to eScholarship is a great way to get more exposure for your publishing projects, and to preserve a copy of them in perpetuity.

To deposit your work, export it from Pressbooks as a PDF and then upload the PDF to eScholarship. If you make further revisions to your book, remember to export a new version and replace the file in eScholarship.
